SOIL EXCAVATION

A TIDY WORK SITE

ICI excavation services extract and remove affected soils to a designated onsite area to employ a longer, natural process of recovery when in-place remediation is not desirable; relocate un-remediated earth to a nearby official disposal site for treatment; or move remediated stained soils to another onsite area to keep your workplace looking tidy. Closure testing is always conducted to verify concentrations and ensure compliance with state law.

TANK BATTERY CLEANING NORTH OF BIG SPRINGS

HOW AN EXTRA SET OF EYES REDUCES RISK

In August of 2018, ICI was called to clean out a tank battery in the West Texas area that had become compacted with caliche as a result of historical spills. ICI sent out a two-man crew to serve as a Skid-steer operator and spotter to perform the excavation. When working to excavate an area inside tank batteries, a second employee always acts as second set of eyes to guide the equipment operator. Spotters reduce the risk of damaging pipelines and equipment and consistently prove effective -- the two-person team successfully completed the excavation while navigating a tight area in the safest manner possible.
