COMPLIANCE
TESTING AND REPORTING
Our range of compliance and reporting services includes testing soils affected by oil or salt post-remediation, and serving as an intermediary with the Texas Railroad Commission and TCEQ from the onset of a spill to its cleanup. Regardless of your specific requirements, our objective is consistent: to achieve a site cleaned to state-approved compliance standards.
CASE STUDY: TANK BATTERY SPILL IN BIG SPRING AREA
HOW REGULATORY KNOW-HOW CAN PREVENT SHUTDOWN
When an ICI first responder attended a client site to address a spill, they remediated the area to meet compliance standards and advised a lab test to officially confirm the cleanup. Despite this, the client chose not to test. Subsequently, the Texas Railroad Commission imposed severance on the company due to inadequate proof of compliance. Ignoring the expert advice led to a week-long shutdown and significant revenue loss for the client. The lesson learned: proactive remediation compliance is far more valuable than the cost of proving compliance after the fact.
